Two former Hoosiers were waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday.
Undrafted free agents Aaron Casey and Andre Carter were both let go, the NFL franchise reported.
Casey was widely thought to have a chance to make the Bengals but will now look to land on a practice squad.
Carter originally signed after the April draft with Jacksonville. He was waived by that club and then later joined the Bengals for a brief stint.
Earlier in the week, the New York Giants waived former IU defensive end Ryder Anderson. He cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve (hamstring).
Speaking of the Giants, former Hoosier Micah McFadden is questionable for the season opener with a groin injury.
The roster moves came as NFL teams are beginning to distill their rosters down to 53 players by Monday.
