Indiana has had a strong run during the offseason plucking high end talent from well known programs out of the transfer portal.
Could they be primed to now do the same for a second time from the high school ranks?
Already IU has seen Deland’s McCullough’s class of 2022 top-50 4-star son Dasan flip from Ohio State to the Hoosiers. Now the elder McCullough is looking to add to his position room next fall.
Indiana offered Little Rock, Ark. running back James Jointer a couple weeks ago. The 6-foot and 205 pound Jointer committed to Arkansas in March, but he recently told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong that both Deland and Dasan McCullough have him strongly considering a flip to Indiana.
On Thursday Jointer announced an IU official visit beginning on June 25.

A 3-star recruit, Jointer is the No. 572 overall player in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 47 running back.
He chose the home state Razorbacks over offers from Florida State, Michigan State, Tennessee, Missouri, Utah, Virginia, Arizona State, Kansas, Colorado State, and others.
Jointer is coming off a junior season at Parkview High School in which he rushed for 1,000 yards and averaged 17 yards per catch. He missed a majority of his sophomore season due to a torn left ACL.
