Class of 2025 in-state 5-star guard Jalen Haralson will take another visit to Indiana.
Haralson will visit Bloomington on Sept. 2 when IU football opens the 2023 season against Ohio State, according to Jake Weingarten of StockRisers.
The 6-foot-6 Haralson played for Fishers H.S. in the northeast Indianapolis suburbs the last two seasons, but he recently announced a transfer to prep powerhouse La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) for his junior season.
Haralson made multiple visits to Bloomington during the 2022-23 season and is one of the program’s priority class of 2025 targets.
Playing for Fishers, Haralson averaged 23.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game against some of the toughest competition in the state. His shooting splits were 53 percent overall, 26 percent from three (on 43 attempts), and 70 percent from the free throw line.
While playing up a year on the Nike EYBL circuit for the Indy Heat, Haralson was top-20 with 4.1 assists per game. He scored 11.3 points, added 4.8 rebounds, and shot 47.9 percent overall, 41.7 percent from three, and 75.6 percent from the free throw line.
According to the On3 Industry Average, Haralson is a 5-star prospect, the No. 7 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana.
Haralson has dozens of offers beyond IU, including Duke, Michigan, Purdue, Alabama, Gonzaga, Notre Dame, Auburn, Michigan State and Ohio State. He’s probably around a year out from a college decision.
