As he told The Daily Hoosier on Saturday, Braylon Mullins had visit dates coming for some of college basketball’s marquee programs.
On Tuesday afternoon, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported the news of two major visits for the Greenfield, Ind. class of 2025 top-50 shooting guard.
Tipton is reporting Mullins now has dates set for official visits to UConn in early August, and North Carolina in mid-September.
In total, Mullins now has five official visits set including previously announced stops at Indiana, Michigan and Tennessee. That latter visit to Knoxville in mid-October is currently the last one he has scheduled.
The 6-foot-5 Mullins told The Daily Hoosier on Saturday he won’t take a total of more than 10 visits. In addition to the five mentioned above, he also has or had unofficial visits this month to Kentucky yesterday, Purdue and Ohio State. Kansas, Alabama and Michigan State are three more schools we mentioned who could be in the running for the couple of remaining visits.
Mullins is undecided on when he wants to wrap up his recruitment and pick a college.
“I wanted to commit before senior year (high school season), but I’m 50/50 on that,” Mullins told The Daily Hoosier on Saturday. “I’ve just got to decide if I’m going to do it before or during the season. But it’s sometime soon though.”
Mullins is ranked the No. 48 overall player in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Average, and the No. 11 shooting guard. He’s in the top-31 at each of 247Sports, Rivals and On3, and should see a major move up when ESPN publishes their next update.
The top scorer this spring for Indiana Elite’s 13-0 team on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, Mullins averaged 19.3 points per game and shot better than 40 percent from three.
As a junior at Greenfield Central H.S., Mullins averaged 25 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals per game. He shot 56% from the field overall, including 43% from three on 142 attempts.
