As you have likely heard by now, legendary broadcaster and Indiana University alumnus Dick Enberg passed away yesterday at the age of 82. Perhaps best known for his signature “Oh my!” expression, Enberg received masters and doctorate degrees in health sciences from IU. While at Indiana, Enberg voiced the first radio broadcast of the Little 500 and he was also the play-by-play announcer for IU football and basketball games.
Enberg called some of IU’s most memorable basketball moments including the 1976 and 1981 national championship games and the 2002 tournament run. As a tribute to the Hoosier legend, we’ve compiled below some of his most memorable IU broadcasts.
