Let’s try that again.
Elite class of 2025 quarterback Julian Lewis planned to visit Indiana a few weeks ago when the Hoosiers hosted Nebraska. But scheduling logistics for Lewis, trying to get from his Friday night high school game in Georgia to a noon kickoff at Indiana, got in the way.
But Lewis will be in Bloomington on Saturday when the No. 8/10 Hoosiers face Michigan at 3:30 p.m. ET. That’s according to Steve Wiltfong of On3.
Indiana has put a very attractive product on the field through nine games for Lewis to consider.
The Hoosiers rank second nationally in scoring offense, and No. 19 in passing offense. Meanwhile, current Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke is in contention for the Heisman trophy.
According to the On3 Industry Average, the 6-foot-1 Lewis is the No. 36 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 7 QB. A USC commit for more than a year, Lewis took an official visit to Indiana in late May and also visited Bloomington last winter.
Lewis has known IU quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri since he was a young boy. That relationship has put the Hoosiers on Lewis’ radar since Curt Cignetti was hired a year ago.
Hailing from Georgia, Lewis has Carrollton H.S. off to an 10-0 start this season. He has completed 76.6% of his passes for 2,549 yards, 36 TDs and 4 INTs.
Lewis is still also considering USC and Colorado as the December early signing period draws nearer. He is still verbally committed to the Trojans, and Lewis visited Colorado as recently as two weeks ago.
