Make that four former IU basketball players on an NBA Summer League roster this month.
Forward Miller Kopp is with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team announced. He’s listed at 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds and will wear No. 42.
The Thunder will be playing summer league games in both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
Kopp played the 2023-24 season for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA’s G League.
That team won the league title with Kopp averaging 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 31.1 percent from three.
Kopp is also expected to play for Assembly Ball, the Indiana alumni team in The Basketball Tournament beginning on July 19. Both teams have a game on July 19, and Kopp will miss the first round TBT contest.
Also playing in the NBA Summer League are former IU players Trayce Jackson-Davis (Golden State), Kel’el Ware (Miami) and Romeo Langford (Philadelphia). Jackson-Davis missed the Warriors first two games because of a Team USA commitment, but says he’ll be back with the team this week.
Here are the relevant tip-times, location and television for the remaining games involving former IU players.
