Four different former Hoosiers with Indiana careers that spanned the last 15 years will play in nationally televised games on Christmas Day.
Trayce Jackson-Davis will kick-off the IU related action at 2:30 p.m. ET when his Golden State Warriors face Denver on ABC/ESPN. He has played in 19 games and is averaging 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 10.7 minutes, and the former Hoosier star has been particularly well of late.
Fellow rookie Jalen Hood-Schifino will play at 5 p.m. ET when his Los Angeles Lakers host Boston on ABC/ESPN. Dealing with some early season injuries, the point guard has appeared in five games and is averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10.4 minutes.
League veteran Thomas Bryant will play at 8 p.m. ET when his Miami Heat host the Philadelphia 76ers on ESPN. In 18 appearances, Bryant is averaging 5.4 points and 3.8 rebounds over 12.4 minutes per game. Bryant is in his eighth season in the NBA and is a career 59.6 percent shooter.
Finally, on his 35th birthday, Eric Gordon will play at 10:30 p.m. ET when his Phoenix Suns host Dallas on ESPN. He’s averaging 13.2 points and 2.8 assists over 31.5 minutes per game. Gordon is in his 16th year in the NBA. He’s 19th all-time in NBA history in 3-point field goals made.
Three other Hoosiers with NBA teams this season — Cody Zeller (New Orleans), OG Anunoby (Toronto), and Victor Oladipo (Houston) — have the day off.
