But wait, there’s more.
A massive weekend at IU got even bigger when it was announced on Saturday Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff” show will broadcast live from Bloomington prior to Indiana’s game against Michigan.
The on-site program allows fans to watch Rob Stone, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and Urban Meyer live, and typically provides a chance to win game tickets, win some free swag, check out celebrity guests, and more.
According to a graphic released by the IU football program, the show will start at 10 a.m. and will be based outside of Memorial Stadium’s south end zone. Indiana and No. 4 Michigan kick at Noon Eastern.
Typically, FOX’s premier broadcast team will cover the Big Noon Kickoff games, with Gus Johnson on play-by-play, Joel Klatt on color commentary, and Jenny Taft reporting from the sidelines.
The pre-game show is just the latest high profile addition to Indiana’s homecoming weekend.
On Friday, IU basketball will host its first ever Pro Day, with representatives of NBA teams on site to watch workouts. Later in the day the program will host its preseason tip-off event Hoosier Hysteria, followed by a live concert by rap artist G Herbo. The basketball program is expecting several recruits to be in Bloomington over the weekend.
