The 2024 IU football season kicks off in Bloomington on Saturday afternoon.

This year’s edition of Hoosier football will feature a gameday experience that blends the familiar with several new additions to the lineup.

Below is an overview of the timeline for gameday at Memorial Stadium, along with a summary of the new concession options, and where to find everything.

All times are Eastern and specific to the Saturday opener vs. Florida International.

9 a.m. – Parking lots open.  Hoosier fans will have plenty of time to tailgate.  Be sure to check out the unique points of interest at the four main gates.

1 p.m. – B-Town Boulevard opens.  The lawn south of Memorial Stadium along with a neighboring portion of Miller Plaza has been transformed into a festival-like atmosphere with the unveiling of B-Town Boulevard. This space will open 2 ½ hours before kickoff, and is open to all ticket holders as well as the general public. This new space will feature: a concert stage with live bands; food trucks; an outdoor bar; family-friendly games; IU Team Store with IU merchandise; and other IU-related attractions.  The food trucks should be open by 11 a.m.  GO HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

    B-Town Map

1:15 p.m. – The Walk and gameday rally.  This tradition continues as the players and coaches walk from the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall to Memorial Stadium and greet the fans along the way.

2 p.m. – Stadium gates open.  Adventurous fans can go in early and check out Memorial Stadium from almost any vantage point.

2 p.m. – Hoosier Red Zone opens.  The Hoosier Red Zone is a family-friendly pre-game area located between Sections 13-20 on the main concourse. It offers food, drinks, and plan-to-win games and other fun activities before the game. All of the area’s fan favorite games will be back this fall, along with a handful of new offerings that fans of all ages are invited to try out!

3 p.m. – Marching Hundred Band pregame show.  Indiana University’s famed Marching Hundred is the product of a tradition which dates back to the organization of the first band at Indiana in 1896

3 p.m. – Don Fischer’s pregame radio show.  The legend returns for his 52nd season on the call.  Returning to the booth to join Fischer will be Buck Suhr.

3:30 p.m. – Kickoff vs. FIU.  The Curt Cignetti era officially begins.

    NEW CONCESSION OPTIONS

Once inside the stadium, IU fans will find a completely updated variety of concession options on gameday.

Indiana has partnered with Levy to create a new food and beverage experience across all athletic venues. Fans will enjoy new signature menu offerings, favorite local restaurants, quick and convenient grab & go destinations, and elevated premium hospitality on Hoosier game days.
