Indiana football cornerbacks coach Brandon Shelby and current cornerbacks Jaylin Williams, Reese Taylor and Tiawan Mullen had a roundtable discussion with former IU stars Rashard Fant and Michael Hunter.
Fant is Indiana’s all-time leader with 58 passes defended and 53 pass breakups. He appeared in 49 career games (36 starts) and made 132 tackles, 119 solo, five for loss (37 yards), five interceptions (68 yards), one pick-6 and three fumble recoveries. Fant added 53 punt return yards and 11 kick return yards.
Hunter graduated from IU in 2014 and transferred to Oklahoma State for his final season. He started every game for the Hoosiers his last two seasons, recording 36 tackles and an interception in 2014. Hunter was in the NFL for four seasons and is now retired.
