Former IU star pitcher Kyle Hart broke through to the major leagues in 2020, appearing in four games including three starts for the Boston Red Sox.
Hart spoke at length with Michael Antonellis on a season that included several highs and lows, including health battles.
The 6-foot-5 Hart struggled with Boston, posting an 0-1 record with a 15.55 ERA along with 13 strikeouts and 10 walks in 11 innings of work.
But Hart is taking an optimistic view on what appears to be a bright future after a stellar career in Bloomington.
Over a five-year career at IU Hart had a 2.89 ERA. The southpaw left Indiana with the second-most victories (31) in program history.
