Former IU great Jay Edwards joined A.J. Guyton on the House of Hoosier Podcast this week.
Known best for his clutch shooting, Edwards scored 1,038 points in just two seasons at Indiana. He was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 1988 after averaging 15.6 points per contest. In 1989 Edwards earned All-American honors as he averaged 20 points per game and helped lead IU to a Big Ten championship.
The 6-foot-4 Edwards shot 48.1 percent from 3-point range on 291 attempts. He entered the NBA Draft after the 1988-89 season. Edwards was chosen by the Clippers in the second round.
