Zach McRoberts is one of the best known walk-ons in the recent history of the IU basketball program.
The Carmel, Ind. product joined Jackson Yeary and Jared Rigdon on The Basketball State podcast.
McRoberts spent his freshman season at Vermont before walking-on at IU and playing for the Hoosiers from 2016 through 2019.
Best known for his hustle and defense, McRoberts played in 85 games for IU. One of his most memorable moments was a last second rebound and assist that set up Juwan Morgan for a game-winning dunk against Notre Dame in 2017.
