Former IU baseball great Kyle Schwarber joined “The Compound” podcast recently to discuss a number of topics including his memorable return from injury for the 2016 World Series.
The Compound Podcast is hosted by Cubs’ players Ian Happ, Nico Hoerner, Dakota Mekkes and Zack Short.
Schwarber, a Middletown, Ohio product, was selected in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft (fourth overall) by the Chicago Cubs, making him the highest draft pick in Indiana baseball history. The two-time First Team All-American achieved All-Big Ten honors all three years he played for IU. For his career Schwarber hit .341 in 180 games played.
