Cupps reflects on his childhood as the son of a coach, his work ethic, offseason workouts, and freshman season at Indiana.
At Centerville High School, Cupps played for his father Brook. Together they won the state title in 2021, and Cupps won Ohio Mr. Basketball in 2022.
At IU, the 6-foot-2 Cupps averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals in 21.7 minutes per game as a true freshman in 2023-24.
The Dayton, Ohio product shot 36.4% (32-of-88) from the floor, 35.9% (14-of-39) from the 3-point line, and 61.5% (8-of-13) for the Hoosiers.
