Hoosiers For Good, one of two NIL collectives of Indiana University Athletics along with sister organization Hoosiers Connect, signed a new class of 48 IU student-athletes who will use their name, image, and likeness (NIL) to help raise awareness for seven Indiana charity partners.
This is the largest group of athletes signed by the organization.
With this class, Hoosiers For Good has entered into 144 yearlong agreements with IU student-athletes since its inception in 2022. Included in the new class are athletes from volleyball, football, women’s swimming and diving, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, baseball, and women’s tennis.
Some of the IU athletes included in a video released by Hoosiers for Good include football quarterbacks Tyler Cherry and Tayven Jackson, defensive lineman Philip Blidi, offensive linemen Carter Smith and Mike Katic, and wide receiver Elijah Sarratt.

The winter class of athletes are partnered with seven Indiana charitable organizations, including continuing partnerships with Stop the Violence Indianapolis, RecycleForce, People and Animal Learning Services (PALS), Stone Belt, and Monroe County Habitat for Humanity. Hoosiers For Good will partner with two new organizations, Hoosier Hills Food Bank and Monroe Community Kitchen.
As a result of the new partnerships, Hoosiers For Good has now partnered with 32 charitable organizations.
Hoosier For Good athletes provide in-kind services to their partnered charities including in-person appearances and social media posts to promote their appearances, initiatives, and events for their charity partners throughout the length of their yearlong agreements.
“This new class of athletes represents the tremendous amount of growth that we’ve seen as an organization since March of 2022, and ultimately the incredible impact that athletes have had on their charity partners,” said Tyler Harris, Executive Director of Hoosiers For Good. “Each of these 48 athletes are eager to start working alongside their charity partner and use their voice to raise awareness in our communities.”
