Six former Indiana University basketball stars completed their participation in the 2018 NBA summer league.
Several players had strong summers including OG Anunoby and Thomas Bryant. Robert Johnson and Troy Williams also seemed to help their cause, although Williams will be looking for a new team after being released by the Knicks.
We have summarized below the stats for each player and have included video highlights from the top games by the top performers.
OG ANUNOBY
Anunoby averaged 15.8 points, 6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in four games. He produced his relatively high points per game average in only 27 minutes per game while shooting just 40% from the field.
Anunoby had a 22 point outburst against Denver:
JAMES BLACKMON, JR.
Blackmon, Jr. appeared in three games and logged an average of 18.3 minutes per game. He scored 3.7 points per game, and struggled from the field, shooting just 14%. Blackmon, Jr. added 1.3 rebounds, .7 assists and .7 steals per game.
THOMAS BRYANT
Bryant appeared in three games and averaged 29.7 minutes per game. The former Hoosier big man averaged 15.3 points per game on an efficient 59% from the field. He added 8.7 rebounds and 2 blocks per game.

ROBERT JOHNSON
Johnson played in five games for the Hawks, averaging 16.6 minutes per contest. He averaged 8.6 points on 40% shooting from the field and added 1.8 rebounds per game.

CHRISTIAN WATFORD
Watford appeared in three games, playing 12.7 minutes per contest. The former IU forward averaged 2.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. He had his best production in his final game, going for 5 points, 6 rebounds, a steal and a block.
TROY WILLIAMS
Williams is fully recovered from an April jaw injury. He appeared in five games for the Knicks and averaged 20.6 minutes per game. The former Hoosier wing averaged 11.8 points on 46% shooting from the field. He added 4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
Update – Williams was waived by the Knicks on Monday.
OTHER IU NBA NEWS
Multiple outlets are reporting that IU all-time assist leader Yogi Ferrell is very close to signing a new deal with Dallas.
