Multiple former IU basketball stars are in the news Thursday.
Golden State Warriors rookie forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is back in Indianapolis to face the Indiana Pacers Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby had surgery to remove bone fragment in his right elbow, ESPN is reporting. He’s expected to miss at least three weeks of action.
The Knicks acquired Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 30 in four-player trade. In 14 games with the Knicks, he is averaging 15.6 points and 4.6 rebounds.
The Knicks are 33-18 overall, including 12-2 since acquiring Anunoby in a trade from Toronto.
Finally, Victor Oladipo has been waived by the Memphis Grizzlies, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. He was acquired by Memphis from Houston in a trade last week.
Oladipo averaged 10.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 42 games for the Heat in 2022-2023. He also had a first stint with Houston in 2020-2021 and has also spent time with the Magic, Thunder and Pacers during his career.
