Former Hoosiers are expected to go head-to-head in the NBA Summer League on Friday evening in Las Vegas when the Los Angeles Lakers face the Golden State Warriors.
After losing both of their contests in the California Classic, the Lakers will go to Las Vegas from Sacramento for the main summer league. Jalen Hood-Schifino, the No. 17 pick in last month’s draft, has looked promising so far for LA. He’s averaging 17.5 points per game through two contests this summer.
Trayce Jackson-Davis has missed his first two summer games with a right hamstring injury, so it’s possible he won’t play the evening. The former IU All-American signed a four year deal with two years guaranteed with the Warriors on Thursday.
