The Big Ten Conference announced last week it will debut a gameday student-athlete availability report for all football competition during the 2023 season.
In connection with that new rule, both IU and Ohio State released injury reports on Saturday afternoon.
Indiana is reporting the following players are OUT for week one vs. Ohio State:
5 Dexter Williams II
40 Orlando Greenlow
45 Trey Walker
60 Max Longman
98 Trey Laing
Williams, who was the starting quarterback for Indiana late in the 2022 season, is expected to be out for the first few weeks of the season.
Longman is a reserve offensive lineman from UMass who is expected to be in the mix for backup snaps this season.
Walker is a reserve tight end who recently received a scholarship.
Greenlow and Laing are further down the depth chart at the outside linebacker position.
Indiana is not reporting any other players with an injury.
The Buckeyes are reporting that the following players are OUT today:

21 Jayden Bonsu
28 T.C. Caffey Jr.
53 Will Smith Jr.
83 Joop Mitchell
87 Reis Stocksdale
89 Zak Herbstreit
