Indiana continues to actively issue scholarship offers in the class of 2020 after the April live recruiting period.
The latest incoming high school senior to receive an IU offer is Minnesota native Dawson Garcia. The IU coaching staff visited Garcia on Tuesday evening and issued the offer in person. He announced the offer on Twitter:

Although he is 6-foot-11, Garcia is not a traditional back to the basket big man. The Prior Lake product has ball handling ability and can pass and knock down perimeter shots.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Garcia is the No. 29 player in the country in the 2020 class, and the No. 6 power forward. He is rated as a five-star according to some services and a four-star on others.
Garcia has offers from a number of schools including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Purdue, Marquette and Baylor.
Indiana has been involved with Garcia for more than a year. As with almost all players from the Minnesota area, IU assistant coach Tom Ostrom is heavily involved in this recruitment.
Garcia plays for D1 Minnesota on the Adidas Gauntlet AAU circuit. He is AAU teammates with other IU 2020 targets including Kerwin Walton and Ben Carlson.
Garcia averaged 27.5 points per game for his junior season at Prior Lake.
