Hailing from Beverly, Massachusetts, Cross attends Woodstock Academy in Connecticut. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds per game as a junior, but it was his performance this past weekend that has garnered more attention including the offer from IU.
Playing for BABC, Cross had a huge weekend in Atlanta, averaging 22 points over four games. He showed a complete game to go with his scoring ability with 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals per contest.
Cross is rated as a three-star according to the 247Sports Composite and has offers from a number of other schools including South Carolina, UConn, Penn State and UMass.
