Several IU class of 2019 recruiting targets gave interviews this week at the NBA Top 100 camp. We summarize below what they had to say about Indiana.
Kira Lewis, Jr.
“I’m still trying to take a visit there. With all of these camps and everything it’s hard to schedule. You can’t take visits in July, so I’m trying to get all I can in during June. If I don’t go in June then I’ll definitely go when I can go (on visits) again. People love basketball at Indiana, the tradition they have it’s just a great school. A great basketball school.”

DJ Carton
“Indiana, when I went there for my unofficial for the game against Purdue I thought the atmosphere of that place was something different,” he said. “I know the coaching staff really well there and I know I would have a good time with the players because I’m gotten to know them really well too throughout this whole process. Going down to Indiana will be fun, going to Bloomington and seeing that place to learn more about the college and campus.”
“I’ve gotten to know Romeo [Langford] coming in and I’ve gotten to know some of the other young guys,” Carton said. “Just talking to them and getting their feel of the place. I also got to speak with Victor Oladipo so he was definitely a good college player and fun to watch.”

Jahmius Ramsey
Ramsey said that he would like to visit Indiana and that they are one of the schools that have been in touch the most. When asked what the coaches tell him about Indiana he said:
“Romeo will be in, and everyone in America knows he will be gone, and I could be the next coming in behind.”
When asked if he knew any of the other IU recruits, he indicated that he knew IU was going after Watford, and that was about it.
Ramsey indicated that he likely won’t commit until next April. As we mentioned yesterday, someone at 247 Sports thinks Ramsey is headed to IU.

“They are another one that goes hard. I get texts from them pretty much every day. He (Archie Miller) is a really, really good coach.”
