With the Big Ten regular season complete, Indiana men’s basketball finally knows its position for the conference tournament.
The Hoosiers will be the No. 3 seed in Chicago, after they defeated Michigan and Northwestern beat Rutgers.
Indiana will face either No. 6 seed Maryland, No. 11 seed Nebraska, or No. 14 seed Minnesota in the quarterfinals on Friday. That game will be the second game of the evening session, the final game of the day. IU’s game will tip off on Big Ten Network 25 minutes after No. 2 seed Northwestern’s matchup against either Illinois or Penn State, which starts at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Nebraska plays Minnesota in the first round on Wednesday night, with the winner taking on Maryland on Thursday. That game involving the Terrapins will determine IU’s opponent.
IU secured a double-bye, regardless of the Northwestern-Rutgers result, with the win over the Wolverines.
