The IU 2020 class got bigger in more ways than one with the addition of Sparks.
At 6-foot-2 and 327 pounds, Sparks has college ready size that he will look to impose in the Big Ten.
The Clearwater Academy International product has actually slimmed down according to a 247Sports($) report, leading to improved speed and greater college attention in recent months.
But Sparks decided to end his recruitment and follow the same path from his high school to Bloomington that produced Sio Nofoagatoto’a and DK Bonhomme in the class of 2019.
Originally from Toronto, Sparks is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports, coming in as the the No. 133 defensive tackle in the country according to that service.
Sparks had offers from other power five schools including Mississippi and Syracuse as well as a host of mid-majors including Buffalo, Colorado State and Florida International.
