Carpenter checks in at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. 247Sports Composite ranks him the No. 43 quarterback in the country for the class of 2024, and the No. 23 recruit from Ohio. IU offered him on May 15.
Indiana was Carpenter’s lone power five offer. He was offered by several MAC schools, including Akron, Central Michigan, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Toledo, and Western Michigan. Liberty and Marshall were among the other schools to offer him.
