The 4-star talent keeps rolling in for Indiana in this unprecedented 2019 recruiting class orchestrated by head coach Tom Allen and his staff.
The latest addition is Cam Williams, a highly coveted linebacker from Merrillville, Indiana (Andrean High School).
Williams announced his decision at the school and Indiana sent out a statement via Twitter:

The 6-foot-3, 210 pound Williams chose Indiana over a final five that included Kentucky, Arizona, Purdue and Cincinnati.
According to the Northwest Indiana Times, Williams recorded 59 tackles (16 for loss), 2 forced fumbles, 5 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions for his 2018 senior season at Andrean.
An exceptional athlete, Williams was a state qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles.
Playing outside linebacker this past season, Williams comes in rated as the 222nd best player in the country according to Rivals, and 201st according to 247Sports. He is a top 20 outside linebacker according to both recruiting services.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Williams becomes the fourth 4-star caliber recruit that will join the IU program for the 2019 season along with defensive lineman Beau Robbins, running back Sampson James and transferring quarterback Jack Tuttle. (Note: According to Rivals, cornerback Tiawan Mullen is also rated as a 4-star)
Collectively, IU’s 2019 class is on pace to be ranked in the top 40 nationally and become the highest rated Hoosier class in the recruiting rankings era. This is on the heels of the 2018 class, which was at the time the highest rated incoming group for IU.
