Indiana football keeps climbing up the polls.
The Hoosiers check in at No. 13 in both the AP Poll and the APCA Coaches Poll this week after their dominant 56-7 victory over Nebraska. They moved up three spots in the AP Poll, and five spots in the Coaches Poll. Indiana is 7-0 for the first time since 1967, and could tie that team for the best start in program history this week.
IU has now been ranked for four straight weeks. This is only the second season in the last 30 years when the Hoosiers have spent consecutive weeks in the AP Poll.
Three Big Ten teams rank higher than Indiana in the AP Top 25: newly-crowned No. 1 Oregon, No. 3 Penn State, and No. 4 Ohio State. The Hoosiers sit one spot behind in-state Notre Dame, and they’re two spots in front of traditional power Alabama.
IU takes on Washington (4-3, 2-2 Big Ten) on Saturday at noon ET on Big Ten Network, with ESPN College GameDay airing live from Bloomington that morning leading up to kickoff.
