The Hoosiers had a week off, but they didn’t get healthier.
Multiple outlets are reporting freshman guard Trey Galloway has a sore back and will not play on Thursday night against Iowa. Galloway could be seen on the sidelines during the Purdue game last week with something on his back, and he was not in uniform during pre-game warmups in Iowa City.
IU coach Archie Miller confirmed the reports on his pre-game radio spot, stating Galloway has been dealing with back soreness since the Purdue game.
Hailing from Culver, Ind., Galloway has appeared in all 14 games, starting seven times including each of the last six contests.
The 6-foot-4 Galloway is averaging 4.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest in 23.1 minutes of action.
Indiana and Iowa tip at 9 p.m. ET in Iowa City. The game will be televised on FS1.
