One of the top grad transfers on the market has included Indiana on his list of finalists.
6-foot-4 shooting guard Charles Minlend from San Francisco is down to Arizona, Arkansas, Butler, BYU, Gonzaga, Indiana and Mississippi State, according to Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers.
Minlend averaged 14.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists as a junior in the WCC. He was named All-WCC second team each of the last two seasons.
Originally from Concord, N.C., Minlend is 18th on USF’s all-time scoring list with 1,271 career points. He shot 41.6 percent from the field overall in 2019-20, including 30.3 percent from three-point range.
Minlend is an immediately eligible graduate transfer. If class of 2021 commit Khristian Lander is able to reclassify to the class of 2020 as he intends, IU does not have any available scholarships for the 2020-21 season unless someone transfers.
