(Update: Indiana receives No. 1 seed in NIT)
The Indiana University men’s basketball program has missed the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
The Hoosiers (17-15) will likely receive a bid to the National Invitational Tournament. Those brackets will be announced at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
IU was revealed as part of the “last four out” of the NCAA Tournament despite having a higher NET ranking than three of the last four in.
The Hoosiers will likely host a NIT game this week at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
