Mann has multiple offers including from Florida and Florida State. Those two schools are initially thought to be the most likely destination.
ESPN, which ranks him 7th at his position nationally, had this assessment of the rising star:
“He is considered to be a scoring point guard with good length who’s also a solid athlete. Good shooter with range to 20 feet. Plays with a very good pace. Can run a team, facilitate and score. His length allows him to be an able defender. Very good clutch player that makes big shots at big times. Tre has really grown and improved in the last year. He was 5’10 as a freshman. Tre can be a difference maker with his shot making ability and his fearlessness.”
As you can see in this video, Mann is an elite athlete with solid handles who can score from the perimeter or off the dribble.
Mann is the second 2019 point guard that Indiana has offered in the last few days and the third guard overall. The Hoosiers offered Iowa native D.J. Carton over the weekend and Flordia combo-guard Jahmius Ramsey yesterday.
