The Indiana University men’s basketball program has offered a scholarship to class of 2019 point guard D.J. Carton of Bettendorf, Iowa. The 6-3 four-star guard announced the offer via Twitter after Indiana’s coaching staff completed an in-home visit on Sunday:

Carton, who is ranked in the top 50 nationally by 247 Sports, has offers from several programs including Iowa and Wisconsin who are considered to be the two front runners. He is the Hawkeyes’ top target for 2019.
Carton took a 2-day unofficial visit to Indiana in January. The visit included the Purdue game, so he was able to experience an IU game day environment at its best. You can watch him discuss that visit here.
