According to the 24/7 Sports composite, Harris is the 62nd ranked player overall nationally in the class, and the 8th ranked combo guard.
Playing for a stacked Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL circuit, Harris has been a key player on a 16-0 team. He averaged 8.3 points and hit 54 percent of his threes (13 of 24). He is known for playing hard on both ends of the floor and being a team leader.
Team Takeover is the same AAU program that produced Victor Oladipo.
During his high school season, Harris was quoted as saying that his perimeter shot was an area of emphasis for future improvement. If his performance on the EYBL is any indication, he is making nice progress there.
Harris holds approximately 15 offers, with Virginia Tech, Florida State, Louisville, Georgia, Maryland and Wake Forest viewed as the leaders.
