The Indiana University men’s basketball program continues to extend offers in the class of 2020. The latest to be offered by IU is Missouri point guard Caleb Love. He announced the IU offer via Twitter on Sunday:

Love is the second point guard that the Hoosiers have offered in the class, following Ethan Morton out of Pennsylvania. If IU ends up not obtaining a point guard commitment in the class of 2019, the position will almost certainly be highly emphasized in 2020.
At 6-foot-3, the St. Louis product is ranked 36th nationally in the 2020 class according to the 247Sports composite. That national ranking reflects a major move up in recent months. That same service has him rated as a four-star recruit and the fourth best point guard in the class.
In June, Love was invited to the Nike Elite 100. The four day event involved many of the top players in the 2020 and 2021 classes. 247Sports recruiting analyst Brian Snow said this about Love following the event-
“There might not have been a better overall performer than Love. He was consistently one of the best all weekend long, and showed not only an ability to get others the basketball, but an ability to score as well. Love is a pretty good athlete, who showed more explosion than normal, and is someone who can get into the lane as well as move his feet on defense. More than anything Love played within himself, took and made good shots, and also passed the ball. In a camp dominated by guards who dribbled way too much, Love did not do that and it made him standout from the crowd, and allowed his natural playmaking to take over.”
For AAU, Love plays in the Bradley Beal Elite program. He played U16 during the Nike EYBL season but played a year up later in July. During the third July evaluation period, he faced off against Team Takeover and Anthony Harris in front of Archie Miller on Friday. Love scored 15 in that game and appears to have made an impression.
According to 247Sports, Love holds offers from several other high-major programs including Missouri, Illinois, Xavier and Butler.
