As previously reported, IU basketball coach Mike Woodson is in New York this week to speak at the New York Basketball Coaches Clinic Wednesday at Stepinac H.S. in White Plains.
Before that appearance tomorrow, Woodson will conduct an in-home visit with class of 2024 5-star point guard Boogie Fland tonight. That’s according to multiple reports.
Ranked the No. 1 point guard in the 2024 class by the On3 Industry Average, and the No. 7 player overall, Fland visited Indiana for multiple days in June along with his family.
“It was great,” Fland told The Daily Hoosier of his visit to IU. “I love their environment, love the coaching staff, the fans are nice, everything about it is cool. It was all around great, I really liked it. I enjoyed myself.”
In July, Fland announced his top eight schools: Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, St. John’s, and UConn.
Fland is coming off a visit to Kentucky over the weekend, and he has visits scheduled to Alabama and Maryland later this month.
Also attending the Wednesday coaches clinic are Kentucky’s John Calipari, and Alabama’s Nate Oats.
The 6-foot-3 Fland has not yet announced a timeline for making his college decision.
