For the first time since 2016 the Indiana women’s basketball program is back in the NCAA Tournament.
The Hoosiers will be a No. 10 seed in the Portland Regional. IU will face No. 7 Texas on Friday in Eugene, Oregon. The game is at 7:00 p.m. Eastern and will be on ESPN2.

Texas (23-9) is ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Poll. The Longhorns finished with a 12-6 mark in the Big 12, good for third place in the league.
IU (20-12, 8-10) is one of six Big Ten teams into the field this season.
This is the Hoosiers’ sixth all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament. They hold a 2-5 all-time mark in the annual event.
Indiana won a first round game in 2016 over Georgia before falling to Notre Dame in the second round.
