The Big Ten has released the home and away opponents for each of the 14 members of the Big Ten Conference. The conference schedule expands to 20 games starting with the 2018-19 season, with each team playing seven teams both home and away and six teams only once.
Indiana will play Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin only once at home, and Maryland, Minnesota and Penn State only once on the road. The results are mixed for Indiana. They caught a break by only having to face Ohio State and Wisconsin once at home, while they will have to face likely upper-third team Maryland on the road.
The Hoosiers have to face expected title contenders Michigan State and Michigan twice, while also facing expected lower third teams like Illinois and Rutgers twice.
The Purdue series is now a protected series that will have a home and away each year going forward.
