Indiana senior guard Devonte Green has decided to declare for the NBA Draft.
The news was first reported by Ben Stinar of Amico Hoops and retweeted by Green:
Green does not currently appear on any NBA Draft projections, and is likely utilizing the early entry process to obtain feedback that he can incorporate into his senior season at Indiana.
The North Babylon, New York native played in 28 games during the 2018-19 season, starting nine times. Green was third on the team in scoring at 9.4 points per game and he led Indiana shooting the ball from three point range at 41%.
During the last seven games of his junior campaign, Green averaged 15.4 points and 3.9 assists while making 51% of his three-point attempts.
Under the new rules, Green will have the option to hire an agent and still remain eligible to return for his senior season as long as that agency contract is terminated prior to May 29 — the last day to withdraw from the NBA Draft.
