Indiana demonstrated once again in 2024-25 they’ll support the program through tough times.
Based on NCAA data, the IU men’s basketball program ranked sixth nationally this past season in total attendance and first in the Big Ten with 296,046 cumulative seats sold over 18 games.
The five programs ahead of IU in total attendance were Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Syracuse and North Carolina, in that order.
Indiana reports sold out crowds (17,222) for most of their home games when the students are on campus. For games when the student section is opened up to the general public, crowds less than capacity can occur. Indiana reported average attendance per game of 16,447 (95.5% capacity), which ranked No. 8. Based on percentage of capacity, IU ranked No. 12.
Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall has the No. 17 capacity in the nation.
