Indiana basketball forward Malik Reneau did not take part in pregame warmups on Wednesday evening ahead of their game against Penn State.
An IU spokesperson told The Daily Hoosier Reneau’s status is questionable. He was not listed on the Big Ten’s pregame availability report published three hours before tipoff.
A source tells TDH the junior forward is dealing with an illness.
In his last three appearances, Reneau has posted 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game on 57.4% (27-of-47) shooting from the floor. He went over the 1,000 point mark for his IU career on Sunday against Purdue.
Indiana is starting Oumar Ballo, Mackenzie Mgbako, Luke Goode, Anthony Leal and Trey Galloway against Penn State.
Reneau did not play in the first meeting with Penn State as he dealt with a knee injury.
