There are few events that assemble more of the nation’s top high school talent in one place than the annual NBPA top-100 Camp.
Since its inception in 1994, over 300 players who attended the camp have gone on to careers in the NBA. Each year the camp draws scouts from throughout the league. And the event is held during a live recruiting evaluation period, and that means college coaches can be on hand too.
The Daily Hoosier can confirm that IU head coach Mike Woodson is at the 2023 NBPA Top-100 Camp, along with assistant coaches Kenya Hunter and Yasir Rosemond. The camp is at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando from June 26 to July 1.
By our count there are 12 class of 2024 prospects Indiana has offered and is still actively recruiting in Orlando this week, along with 13 from the class of 2025 who fit that description.
It’s a good place for the IU staff to see the majority of the players they are recruiting — and to be seen.
