Indiana made the final seven for fast-rising 2024 point guard Curtis Givens.
Along with Indiana, Givens told On3’s Joe Tipton he’s considering Georgia Tech, LSU, Memphis, Texas, UConn, and Villanova.
Indiana offered Givens a month ago after the first live recruiting period in April. He has not made any visits to this point.
The 6-foot-3 Givens attends Montverde Academy where he teams with fellow IU 2024 targets Liam McNeeley, Asa Newell and Derik Queen.
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Givens is the No. 70 overall player in the 2024 class and the No. 12 point guard.
Givens has been one of the top scorers on the Nike EYBL circuit this spring. He’s averaging 17.8 points per game over 25.2 minutes in 12 contests for the Mokan Elite. More than half of his field goal attempts have come from three, and his shooting splits are 41.4 percent overall, 34.8 percent from three (89 attempts), and 78.2 percent from the stripe.
Indiana does not currently have any commits in its class of 2024. With the departure of Xavier Johnson following the 2023-24 season, point guard is one of their priority positions for the rising senior class.
