Class of 2025 in-state shooting guard Braylon Mullins reported an offer from Indiana following his unofficial visit to Bloomington on Friday.
Indiana joins Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati and Iowa as high majors who have offered and joined his rapidly growing recruitment in the last couple months.
As a sophomore at Greenfield Central H.S., Mullins averaged 16.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game. He shot 58 percent from the field, including 47 percent from three. He converted at a 77 percent clip from the free throw line.
Mullins projects as a wing player in college, but he’ll be taking on more of a lead guard role over his last two years of high school.
The 6-foot-5 Mullins is scheduled to return to IU for Hoosier Hysteria in October. He also visited for a game during the 2022-23 season. IU assistant coach Brian Walsh was up at Greenfield Central H.S. for a visit earlier this week. The IU staff trio of Brian Walsh, Jordan Hulls and Adam Howard are leading the way on this recruitment.
Mullins entered the national rankings earlier this week as a 4-star and the No. 94 overall player in the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
A Greenfield, Ind. product, Mullins is the third in-state product to get an offer from this IU staff, following Jalen Haralson and Trent Sisley.
Mullins will team with fellow IU 2025 offer recipients Sisley and Malachi Moreno for Indiana Elite on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit next spring and summer.
His father Josh Mullins played college basketball at Lincoln Trail, and then IUPUI from 2001 to 2003.
