The end of Indiana’s 2021-22 season has brought a wave of moving parts, with numerous players potentially staying, coming and going.
Below is a tracker of all the activity as it relates to IU since the season ended.

IU ROSTER – RETURNING NEXT SEASON
The following players have made social media posts indicating they will be back for the 2022-23 season:
- Anthony Leal
- Trey Galloway
- Race Thompson
- Jordan Geronimo
- Trayce Jackson-Davis
The following players are now assumed to be returning since the May 1 transfer portal deadline has passed.
- Miller Kopp
- Xavier Johnson
- Tamar Bates
- Logan Duncomb
IU ROSTER – INCOMING FRESHMEN
Indiana has four class of 2022 true freshman signed and set to arrive in Bloomington in June:
- Jalen Hood-Schifino (Montverde Academy, Florida), 6-foot-5 point guard
- Kaleb Banks (Fayette County H.S., Georgia), 6-foot-8 combo forward
- C.J. Gunn (Lawrence North H.S., Indiana), 6-foot-5 shooting guard
- Malik Reneau (Montverde Academy, Florida), 6-foot-8 power forward
IU ROSTER – IN THE TRANSFER PORTAL
The following players have announced they are in the transfer portal, and they are not expected to return next season:
- Parker Stewart – (UT Martin)
- Khristian Lander – (Western Kentucky)
- Rob Phinisee – (Cincinnati)
- Michael Durr – (Central Florida)
