Indiana forward Race Thompson is in uniform on Sunday morning during early warmups as the Hoosiers get set to face Michigan State. He is wearing a brace on his right knee.
Thompson has been out since he suffered a knee injury just over three weeks ago at Iowa.
Indiana released the following statement an hour before tip-off:
“Indiana senior forward Race Thompson has dressed out for pregame warmup and a determination on his playing status today against Michigan State will be made at game time. He has been out since suffering a leg injury in the second half of the Iowa game on January 5.”
Thompson has continued warming up with the full team less than an hour before tip.
The Minnesota product started 76 consecutive games prior to the injury. He is averaging 8.4 points and 6.1 rebounds through 14 games this season.
