One of Indiana’s priority class of 2022 point guard targets is Milton, Georgia’s Bruce Thornton.
An Atlanta Journal Constitution first team all-state selection for Milton High School, Thornton averaged 23 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game to lead the Eagles to the GHSA Class AAAAAAA state semifinals as a sophomore.
The 6-foot Thornton has an offer list that includes Georgia, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Xavier, Clemson, Miami, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech.
Thornton is the No. 7 point guard overall in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite. The 4-star recruit is the No. 31 player overall in the incoming junior class.
