Louisville based class of 2023 forward Kaleb Glenn is moving his recruitment along at a good clip.
A top-50 four-star prospect in the junior class, Glenn is down to Indiana, Louisville, Texas A&M and Tennessee according to a report by Joe Tipton of On3.
Glenn is ranked the No. 41 player in the 2023 class according to the 247Sports Composite. He previously took an unofficial visit to IU in June.
The 6-foot-7 Glenn attends Louisville Male High School where he averaged 20.6 points and 12.6 rebounds per game while shooting 71% from the field as a sophomore. He plays for Bradley Beal Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit.
Indiana head coach Mike Woodson’s NBA background has made a strong impression on Glenn.
“He’s been there, done that, where I am trying to get to,” Glenn told The Daily Hoosier recently. “He’s coached on the highest level for many years. That’s a big factor.”
Louisville Male head coach Tim Haworth also believes Woodson’s background will play a big role.
“I definitely think Mike Woodson’s NBA background resonates with him because that’s where he wants to be eventually, so I think that’s really had a profound effect on him,” Haworth told The Daily Hoosier after joining Glenn on the June visit. “And then to find out that he’s really just a good person, it’s a pretty cool mix.”
Glenn has fall visits set up to his four finalists according to Tipton, including an Oct. 2 stop in Bloomington for Hoosier Hysteria. He told Tipton reclassification to the class of 2022 is on the table but not something his family is giving strong consideration to at this time.
