According to a source, consensus national top-15 prospect Joson Sanon will visit Indiana the weekend of Dec. 16 when IU hosts Kansas in Bloomington.
While Sanon is currently in the class of 2025, according to the same source a reclassification to 2024 is “very much on the table.”
All four major national recruiting outlets list Sanon as a top-15 prospect. Two (ESPN and Rivals) say he is a 5-star guard. The Massachusetts product attends Vermont Academy and plays AAU basketball for the BABC on the Nike EYBL Circuit.
The 6-foot-5 Sanon is the No. 4 shooting guard in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Average. He is thought of as one of the better shooters in the class, and a strong, physical guard who competes on the defensive end.
Sanon is also being recruited by Kansas and will visit there Dec. 21. He recently visited Oklahoma State, Arizona and LSU. Georgia is another school in the mix.
Indiana has been involved with Sanon going back to the spring, and they offered a scholarship in October.
